I received these blanks from Mark Koster a while back and hadn't turned them because I don't normally make single barrel pens. But I kept looking at them sitting in my blank drawer and finally decided I needed to branch out a little and add the Sierra/Wall Street/Etc to my repertoire.

The first is an Italian Marbled Paper on an Elegant Wall Street ii while the second one is Purple and Green with Mini Pine Cones (my first time with this type of material as well) on the same hardware. I'm not sure if I should have finished the pinecone blank, but I suspect maybe I should have. As it is I like it a lot.

Anyway, thanks Mark!

Awesome pens Eric!
As Jim pointed out, it's a good idea to seal the pinecone blanks. I love the colors in the pinecone blank.
