Here are two pens I made this morning for prizes for my weight loss group... we give a prize to the best loser of the week and the person who gained the week before but lost the most the following week (Back on Track Award)... I thought these would be nice prizes and "wink, wink" might bring some business my way also...
Both are flaming box elder from local trees. One is a modified slimline... I wanted to see how it looked a little fatter... I used a European center bushing for sizing. Worked out nice...

Say Griz,

Those pens are truly beautiful. I especially like the "modified" slimline. I might try that trick and see if people like it here, maybe with the spalted Pecan I'm working with.

Slick pens and a great incentive idea. Be careful you may have fights errupt at the next meeting. I almost had one happen at a white elephant gift exchange when I put one of my pens in the mix.
