Soumitra, my main suggestion would be to have the wood or blank fit the kit. There seems to be some over lap between the two. You're hex shape work is really very good!!

Thank you Sir. here is a graduate pen I had made months back , using darker wood and minor deviations- feel this one looks a shade better. Perhaps I should have chosen a darker wood for this kit. Also the photos are not good, in fact , after your message I checked todays pens, they look a little better than the photos.
That said, I personally find this to be a bit of a difficult kit.

I checked out your blog and can see that you are an experimenter that is for sure. I like the looks of the hex sided blank on that rinehart kit that is for sure. I also wonder what these 2 pens you have posted would look like if you were to just turn the ends down a bit so they blend into the hardware? Just a thought. Nice job on the hex blanks though. Keep on making pens you are an innovator and I think we are going to see some very cool stuff from you... Thanks for sharing.
