Most people realize by now that my mind sees things differently than a normal
adult,(it's that whole late 60s thing) so while I was walking thru the woods
looking for some old possibly spalted wood on the ground I saw a couple of branches that had grown in a very tight twist.
So like the child with a toy I completely forgot about the spalted wood and set out to see if I could do something with the twisted branches.

maple I believe,I'm not very good at identifying woods,it was light and I dyed
it with purple and teal.

Both, I cast it in green and used a pearlized green on the tube

Very impressive! The wood coloring and texture reminded me of antler. I like it. I wonder why the branches twisted so tightly.
