Very nice! Those must have been some tiny cones! For my 'Dragonhides', I go for the 'scale' look. I love that blue that you used there! Alumilite does have its advantages! :D

Did you dye the cones a little bit before casting? There seems to be a bit of red in there. I usually dye mine for the accent colors. Great looking finish, is that CA or a dip/lacquer?

On that batch the cones were spray painted. the Next batch got dyed, painted, painted white and painted. Will turn soon, and yes that is a CA finish.

I like the pens. For some reason that cast reminds me of something from my high school biology class. So many years ago I can't remember what!
