This had a slice of Ebony, a slice of piano ivory and the base is Spanish Briar. Used the one piece cigar system that worked this time. Three out of four worked great. The third one is still a mystery.

Beautiful pen John,
Did you have trouble with chip out or splits putting your material together?
Not this time. I did, however, measure a little short. Thought I had it figured out, but not so. Knowing that these things can blow apart I used epoxy and filled every little air hole with thin. Sharp tools, work slow and lots of sanding. It was fun, let's do it again. The next one is going to be Ebony with two inlays over a center of ivory.
Thank you for your interest.

John
