I really wanted to do a show this year, just so I could tell the ladies, "You have trouble losing your pen in your purse?? I have the answer!!" And produce a couple of these pens!
IF you paint the tubes, I believe white or chrome would accent the stripes. But it does look kinda cool, unpainted IMO!!

Cool pens Stephen, I agree with Ed that painting the blanks would highlight the colours. Is there a fine crack on the first pen along the body? may just be the photo!

Not a fine crack, it's actually a line in the blank, can't quite explain how it got there or why.
I might paint the next one.
