Turning for Troops

Went to Woodcrafters yesterday and they were having a class. So their Turning for Troops became here are some kits you can take home and turn.

Top is Santos mahogany, middle is white oak that I fumed prior to finish and assembly. Bottom is Cocobolo.

I had a gear problem with the lathe so I got to disassemble my Jet 1442 and clean and re-lube before I could finish these up. That time was slotted for another 3 pens, but they are on stand by for now.

Nice work Marc, and they will be appreciated, I need to get on my pen lathe and turn some for the troops my self.
