I know it's not my best picture ever, but the camera was dying and I had to move fast. I tried a white polyresin with black plastic for the celtic knot. It never properly bonded with the CA, and after gluing 3 of my fingers together trying to repair its breakdown on the drill press, it fell apart again and got itself shattered. I still wanted to turn a new one, so I arrived at this point.

Turns out the black plastic I had was solely to blame for the knot failing to work out. I tried more of it in a stable wood I knew could handle the knot, and the plastic just would NOT bond with the CA in any form whatsoever. Interesting.
