Been so engrossed in making PR blanks and Geocaching, that I forgot I can also make wooden pens. Here's my first wood pen on a polaris kit. I think I'm also getting the hang of indoor photography!!

As you can see, it's in tulip wood with a CA finish.

Pen looks great. Photo has too much woodgrain i feel a neutral background would make the pen the star of the show.

Very nice pen! Good photography of the pen. However, I agree that it would look even better on a background without the competing wood grain.

Than is a very nice pen, I have not been able to understand why we don't see more polaris pens, I think they are great looking pens showing off the wood beautifully, but they don't seem very popular.

I can't grasp that either. I swapped some of my PR blanks for some pen kits and these kits arrived as part payment. I have to say they are now my very favourite kit. Quite hard (=expensive!) to get here in the UK, though.
