I didn't craft this pen nor turn it. But a friend of mine did, and I don't think he posts here. I was so impressed with it, I thought that I would show it off to ya'll. I know that it will be fully appreciated by those who know what it takes to do something like this. It is an inlay, and according to my friend, Ed, it was his first time trying something like this [:0]

Hello all,

Thanks for the comments. I have just joined the forum although I have enjoyed browsing the posts here. The tulip was cut out on a scroll saw using 1/4" thick material. I then laminated the pieces into a blank. It came out quite nicely, but I wasn't sure how it would work out when I was doing it. I posted a thread in the introduction forum titled "Hello from NC" that shows a couple other pens I have done.
