Trying a swirled segment

Arariba and Redheart (I'm pretty sure it's Redheart; it's been on my shelf for a while, and I realized it's not Purpleheart!).

The kit is the Atlas in platinum. I apologize for the colors. I'm still trying to figure out manual white balance, flash setting, and a homemade light tent!

I haven't figured out how to deal with the kerf in the bandsaw. The finish is CA/BLO. I almost had the "American Pie" CA/BLO finish (don't ask!)

You did a good job with the segmenting. Keep it up.

Very interesting segmenting. Those are some very good looking pens. The finish looks good.

I've got some plain maple, and some purpleheart. I'm going to try doing the celtic-knot-like segments next, for donations to our school's fundraising auction.

Any suggestions on how to cut and set up what you have done here?

You can use blue painter's tape to hold the segments together while cutting also.
