Default Trying my hand at casting

Started casting recently (because why not find a way to make this hobby more addictive) and here are the results.
First gnurl I've made and cast with maple burl cut off and alumilite resin. CA finish

Comments and advice for improvements are apprecited.

Very nice. For me, casting is every bit as much of an enjoyable hobby as turning pens.

Nice job! Yes casting will make it more addictive. I agree with what Jay said, I get as much enjoyment out of blank making as turning the pen. The entire creation process of making the blank and bringing it to life just adds to the final satisfaction. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next.
