This was a pretty hard material to turn. Not difficult to turn just very dense I guess would be the word. I made it a closed end pen using a LauLau version of the retro. It has been sanded then I applied several coats of CA then sanded through all the pretty pads then polished. Thanks for looking comments bad or good welcome.

I like that alot, nice design and execution. I bet that one is a real pleasure to write with, especially if you have big hands like me and the end cap sometimes rubs when writing.

Good to see; that is a great looking pen. I found this looking for ways to turn and finish Tru-Stone; I'm turning my first one tonight or tomorrow so will hopefully have something nice to show for it.
