Trivia Contest Booty

Here's a Gent (purchased from Mr Burls here on this site) wrapped in Madrone Burl scored during a the recent trivia contest and turned using johnnycnc's bushings.... Truly an IAP effort!

It's my second attempt at finishing wood in CA - It came out better than my 1st attempt... WAY better) but I still have a long way to go.

The photos don't do the figure in this wood any justice - it's gorgeous. Dig the "birds eye" look in one photo of the cap.

It really looks good from where I sit. The finish is reflecting a lot of light, which makes it kinda hard to see. But hey, it's shiney! The blank and craftmanship is awesome.
