Have been extremely busy at work, so it was a real joy to finally have time to finish a pen I started over two weeks ago. The wood is South Texas Persimmon Tree, dyed and painted, with a small amount of carving to make the bamboo image pop. (yes, its supposed to be bamboo shoots). 6 coats of blo and a little polish. Photos taken with my cell.
