I finally got around to trying some Corian. I think I like it.

I like Corian its not much harder to turn than wood and can make a beautiful product.

Thanks for the link Mike. It looks like I probably need to get some practice with my new bandsaw and get proficient with it before tackling something like this! But I definitely will try it eventually.

Mike, I got a corian sampler box some time back and I've been trying to figure out what to do with the pieces. You just answered that question. Nice work on the glue-up and turning. Finish looks good too.
