Tried one of the new swirl blanks...

I tried one of the new swirl blanks from Exotics this weekend. It is actually really fun to try. You need to be careful to drill in the exact center of the pattern on the blank. I started by turning between centers to take the blank to 19.5 mm and then cut and chucked it in my collet for drilling. I can't count on my drill press to drill exactly done the middle but drilling on the lathe sure does a great job of it. This blank was a nice change and a challenge to make sure the pattern was centered and the lines all lined up on the cap.
