A Pen for the Traditional Archer
The 4" Fletches were a tad long so i reduced them to 3 1/2" Glued and Tied to the shaft with Synthetic Sinew
125 Grain Brass Field Point drilled out to accept the Cross Style Refill
Original Style Speed Nock (not many of these around now)
i tried using an actual shaft but i had to resort to a piece of bed frame Oregon/Douglas Fir
theres not much meat left when you drill a 7mm hole into an 11/32" Arrow Shaft

no its not sold yet ... i have shown it on my facebook page though so hopefully some of my friends from my archery days will take interest

next challenge

a pen made from a Carbon Fiber arrow, not sure if they will have enough internal diameter though
