So I finally got around to filling the cracks with colored epoxy. I went with a blue ink mixture that for some reason setup much faster than normal which made this task more challenging than I expected. The difference was subtle and only one area really showed the blue. When I took the picture it doesn't seem to show up. I'm posting before and after pictures. Any ideas for next time I try something like this?

I have one problem with your photos. On the before photo the clip is on the back of the pen out of site and the two barrels are a light and dark color. On the after photo the clip is on the bottom of the pen and the two barrels are the same color with knots in each one. Jim S

Sorry about the delay on the response I've been off grid so to speak. Here are a couple of pictures before I filled the cracks in. It's the best I've got. The picture I posted earlier that was taken outside is the after picture. Haven't had time to take another.
