Took time out from making bowls

I have been working on some bowls lately and despratly need some instant gratification so i whipped out these two pen yesterday. I know they are just slimlines but any comments are as always welcome. First is made frome a small piece of some kind of Laural i got from my sister while visiting in november(need to call and find out what it is) and the second is a Dyamond wood Red White and Blue . Both are MM sanded to 12000 and a lite coat of BLO rubbed till dry on the lathe and a lite coat of thin CA and MM again then a little of DC's TSW.
