I was a little under the weather all last week and over the weekend. It felt good to get back in front of the lathe tonight.

First is a Chrome Sierra in black and white homebrew PR. I have been anxious to get one of these turned. The first two blew out while drilling. It was a little too brittle but turned well after I got it drilled.

Second is a .308 casing with copper accents and a Cocobolo upper barrel.

Great work and fit. Like the pics too. I like the sierra the best. I can see all the work that goes into the casing pens but for whatever reason they don't do much for me. No offense. Who knows it's like a new car on the market they might grow on me. (living the door open just in case I decide to make them) don't want to shoot my self on the foot. Specially with a 308[8D]
