Here are 4 of 12 pens I made for a magazine who will be hosting a wedding in Mexico soon. The pens are to be used as groomsmen gifts. The magazine will give me a one page feature later this year if all goes well. They are made from Red Palm, Spalted Maple, Zebrawood cut at 45 degrees and Amboyna Burl. Comments and critiques welcome.

They're all very nice, but I think I like the Zebrawood best. That grain really pops out. Also pretty cool about the magazine article.

Thanks! Here is a shot that shows the side view of the Red Palm. It is pretty neat wood. I expected some tearout problems, but it didn't happen this time.
