Hey guys,

This one gave me a hard time, the afzelia xylay has deep grain. This kind of wood has to be filled to make a even finish, went with multiple thin and medium coats.

It's hard to capture the beauty and the depth of this wood, it has 3d veins and a flamy color!

It does look very dense in grain. BTW where do you guys find these exotic woods at anyways. ho edo youeven find them?

Nice chunk of lumber, and on one of my favorite pens, Afzelia Xylay can be a bugger to deal with. But it's worth the trouble when it looks like that.
