Much better than pics show,in person,she's a beaut!
Will see how the pc holds up.I was not 100% satisfied
with the results of pc,may look into a home anodizing setup soon.
Anyway,here she is;~~Miss Purple~~

Thanks,all for the kind words![:)]

Kirby,you asked how do you powdercoat;
I got my setup and info here:
http://www.eastwoodco.com/jump.jsp?itemType=CATEGORY&itemID=458
I bought this kit in 199_? for "hot-rod" use:
http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=5572&itemType=PRODUCT&iMainCat=459&iSubCat=460&iProductID=5572
It's still a heck of a bargain today,and you can get
good results with it in a simple home shop.
I just followed the instructions and poked around their
website for tips and info.Pretty easy to use,if you can
turn a pen you can do powder coating,IMO.[:D]

John, what was your dislike with the PC?? Your pen was done much the exact same as I was thinking with that Jr.Gent blank set you sent me. Well, not purple, but the translucent tint anyway. I assume you polished the metal before the PC, Right??

Lee,I disliked the edge coverage at the ends of
the blanks,(like where it's a sharp corner).
Seemed a bit thin,and I'm really not surprised;
paint will much do the same thing on a sharp edge.
I normally break the edge after 600 grit,and continue
polishing,but I still had thin pc at edges.
I'ts reaally tiny,but there.
Probably never know if it was clear,though.
Yeah,it was polished,pretty much mirror.I guess that
could have some edge creep factor,too.
I'll probably try one pc on a glass beaded one soon.
