These are Briar Burl. I micro messed them and then used HUT wax but I am not happy with the lack of shine.
I started with BLO/CA - 4 coats. Then went to Medium CA for 4 more coats. Micromeshed and hard waxed. These kits are Padre's. PAD702 and PAD703.

Nice pens... It's pretty wood. Where does one acquire briar burl?

Not sure I understand the finish... wax then BLO and CA? Wouldn't the wax keep anything else from adhering?
