tiny pen blanks

I hate to lose any useable wood so I have learned to cut,drill and turn tiny blanks. Leaves no room for errors!

I might start trying to cut it a little closer too when i get a drill press. Looks like you are really saving some wood.

I've been turning 1/2 inch dowels and there ain't much room for error either. Not to mention my drill press isn't all that acurate.

Yea, kinda like drilling 7mm holes into .5"x.5" Corian to make slimlines. []
