I deliberately made the pen a bit larger to show off the wood. Tiger Myrtle is definately my favourite i cant wait to make some more pens with it.

It's Tiger Myrtle from Tasmania here in Australia. It's a type of spalting in the myrtle tree and is rare to find and you don't normally get it this good usually its dull and hard to see the black lines. I have got a few prepared blanks if any one is interested drop me an e-mail.
