The sports teams have their throw back days where they use uniforms from the past. Well, I decided to make a pen via throw back methods. 7MM Streamline - I added the stylus; used a Freebie from Exotics "Solar Flare". I cut it with a hand miter saw instead of my squaring sled:rolleyes:, drilled on the drill press opposed to lathe drilling, pen mill used and then turned it on a mandrel instead of center to center; assembled with a C-clamp just for grins:laugh: Don't remember when I last made a 7mm - Oh wait it was 10 hrs ago !! Comments welcome!

Ah nostalgia! My first pen was turned on a drill press with a jig I made from directions in a magazine article. I think it was a PSI kit for a pen that took Mont Blanc type refills. Must have been about 1995 or 96. I don't think I want to relive that.

Nice work, though, Lynn.

That's how I still make em:laugh:

Nice pen, color...
I still have a bunch of those Slimline/Comfort PSI kits stuffed in a drawer somewhere in the shop.
