Trying to get my more expensive pens built back up. I bought the Snakewood blanks last month at the AAW show in Louisville. Two Roller balls and one Fountain pen all three are Barons.

I spent about 15 minutes (maybe longer) picking through a big pile to get the best of the best. I ain't a real big fan of Snakewood but it makes a dang sharp pen.

It's not that it's hard to turn--- you will find that some woods are fussy with thier own personalities. And other wood is just friendly and easy to get along with.
Hope that makes some kind of sence.
