Three Maple Pens

UofM is extending it's art museum and they invited Michigan woodturners to create pieces for a fundraiser using wood that the school has cleared. These pens are part of what I'm doing for the school. The celtic knot is a fountain pen, the others are rollers.

Thanks everyone. The celtic knot ben was done on my trusty band saw with many kudos to Grant Wilkinson's tutorial that gave me the last clues on how to make it work perfectly. The 'penfetti' pen was an idea that's been rolling around in my head for a while, waiting for me to get a good scroll saw (an Excalibur). The dot.pen was my first try at inlaying. I like taking the time to make each pen 'special.' I wish I had more.
