Recently keithbyrd posted a TBL pen with the blue line running vertically. The ones I had done previously had the line as circular. This inspired me to try my version. Since I don't like mixing acrylic with wood, I cut a black acrylic blank from Woodcraft in half and glued in a blue strip from another Woodcraft acrylic blank, glued it up and mated it with a black TI Zen kit.

C & C welcome.

Jim, thanks for your comments. I debated between a solid blue and the one with some pearl fleck in it. I wanted it to pop, so I went with the pearl fleck. You're right, I probably could or should have made the blue a bit thinner.

John, I think that little bit of pearl fleck really adds a lot to the overall appeal of the pen.
I say, well done !!!!

Mal & Keith: thank you both for the kind words. They are most appreciated.
