Dario,
It's a 1/2" Sindlemaster. A friend sent me 6 of the canary wood he & one other guy had blowouts 3 out of six times trying to turn it. I was on the Sorby web site & lookedat the videos of some of the tools & the Spindlemaster looked pretty good easy to use for a beginer So I picked one up & that's the only tool I used to turn those pens. It is very easy to use specially for a beginner. I still get catches trying to use my skew but I keep trying. I think my problem is the height of the rest when I use the skew.

That Juniper is stunning when It's finished being turned,
Again Thanks Dario

Chuck
