Mark makes a nice blank and when I saw this blank displayed on IAP, I immediately started the wheels in motion to buy one, nice! It too is poured with PR (I think) and it was a dream to turn. After a few inlace acrylester blanks it was a joy to turn and finish this stuff. A nice Jr Gent II in titanium gold was my choice for a kit. No giving this baby away, someone is going to have to buy it!

Beautiful pen... Beautiful Blank... Beautiful Pictures also :).

The blank may also be Alumilite; Marko does a lot of that and yes, his blanks are wonderful to turn.

Great Effort!

WOW! Great job Mark! I can only do so much, the rest is up to the turner and you have nailed it! This blank was poured with Alumilite. I use it almost exclusively but I also have P.R. in my "must have" set of tools. There is a time and a place when to use it.

Alumilite is a snap to use and won't chip or break when dropped. Love the stuff and the results it produces:bananen_smilies051::bananen_smilies051:

Thank you for the compliments:wink:
