Back in May John crafted a blank of feathers from our pet Cockatiel. My daughter really appreciates the pen. The pen looks much nicer in person, It looks like the whole family handled it before I took the pictures. I just about had the pen finished in August, but when I was sanding with micromesh I started to feel a little rub. I had exposed a little piece of a rachis/quill (the stem on the middle of the feather) on one of the ends. So I had to slowly apply layers of CA. Last night I was finally able to get back to my lather after a rather lengthy busy time at work and was able to finish the pen. Thanks John for the wonderful keepsake.
