A thank you gift.

I made this Copper Wall St for a customer of mine that purchased 1285 sq. ft. of Brazilian Cherry Hardwood flooring from me (@ my day job). I grabbed some of the scrap from the dumpster and added a thank you note explaining where the wood came from and how I finished the pen.

It's a little thinner than I like, but she loved the way it wrote and felt.

Your right on the money Mark. I have done the same thing in my cnc biz and over the long haul it has more then payed off in referrals. i even had one guy directly ask if he got a pen with his order.... HA!

That is my hope. When she talks about her hardwood floor, remember Mark and the pen she received that is made from her specific floor.


Now if I can just figure out how to cast a chunk of carpet. :biggrin:
