This Baron Rollerball is made with a piece of Juniper from Clint at McFamily Woods. Big surprise, it is finished with Enduro followed by TSW.

TSW is Trade Secret for Wood, a product for finishing developed by Lou (DCBluesman. I prefer it over Ren Wax. It is not cheap, but one container lasts a very long time. It is available from Arizona Silhouette and Pens of Color, and perhaps others I am not aware of.

Very nice looking pen William. I find that the juniper is brittle but soft, makes it a little difficult to turn, but the end result is sure worth it.

Very nice job. Juniper is one of my favorites. I have about 30 pounds of it since it grows near my house. I've got greens, blues, purples, reds and yellows at various times. I tried it X-cut once and it flew apart on me. I'll probably try it again and have a quart of CA handy.

Beautiful pen William! I love Juniper. It's my best seller. Something to keep in mind though. I've had several of them crackout in the knot area after they were turned and sitting around for a few days. You might want to use some CA on the knot before you finish them.

Thanks, Greg for the tip. I did run thin CA into the drill hole before using epoxy to glue in the tubes. I hope enough soaked in to help some.
