What is the deal they have? I can purchase a gallon of Silmar 41 for $35 plus shipping. Without purchasing anything else, I can get it to Kentucky for $50 total. The people at US Composites are great. Super nice and helpful. I started with Casting resin from Michael's. I won't go back. I caught Mica powder on sale. I purchase 20-25 different colors plus some solid colors from US Composites. Those solid colors are what I used for these pens. A few weeks ago, I decided to try a 3/4" PVC pipe with a cork in one end. Much to my surprise, it has worked like a charm. I have to cover the cork stopper with a piece of rubber glove. I found that a #10 fits a 3/4" PVC and a #14 cork fits a 1" PVC. I've learn tons about casting from reading on this site.
