Ok, i know the photography isn't the best, i don't have a light booth set up, and i apologize now if anyone is offended by the background, but there is a reason behind it. The person i made these pens for is a first time shooter, and thats what we went out and shot. Anyways, to the point....

The lighter wood is Canary Wood and the darker is IPE.

They are both slimline kits, the Canary has a chrome finish, and the IPE is a chrome/black. I personally thing the canary would have looked better with a gold kit but I didnt have any.

tips? advice? The pens are finsihed with a coat of BLO, and 1-2 coats of thin CA glue, with 4-5 coats of medium CA. After final coat, i hit with a wet strip of 600 sandpaper, then all 9 (i think) grains of MM, finally a light coat of Renaissance wax.

Thanks
Joe

I think the pens looks great and the lighting on the photos is fine (although the first one appears to be a little out of focus).
