Now here is a prototype pen that you can get your critical teeth into: The bottom is .30-06 and the top is .45 automatic. Middle can be anything. My name was decaled around the 7mm tube with a window gouged out of the bullet and then Alumilite.
Any way, the pen is 6" too long. Is it to garish, too long?

It's long for a twist pen but it looks good. Lots of the kitless fountain pens some of us make are 5-6" long
