After a 6 month hiatus I decided to dust off the 'ol lathe. Pretty happy with the CA glue finish. Top to bottom: Tiger Wood, Cedar, Curly Maple, Sapele. Blanks from Wayne Cantin on eBay and kits from PSI.

Thanks Earl, the light woods look good. I've had issues with my bushings causing discoloration to the ends of my blank when sanding, I'm glad this one didn't have that issue.

Those all look good! One thing I'll do with light woods is after I've turned them down close is to remove the bushings and use plastic spacers while sanding and just check with a calipers to make sure I'm at the right diameter. That way you don't get any steel dust in the light wood.
