We ran into some struggles in getting this pen together, but in the end we accomplished what we set out to do.
Our team was spread between Australia and the USA. We decided to create a mashup between the countries. The members of the team were Sam Simomatra (Bruce Sanders), Seamus Rooney (Seamus7227), Tony Baker, Shawn Pachlhofer (The Penguin), and myself.
The body of the pen is a US quarter puzzled together with an Australian Dollar coin cast over a blue background. The cap is laminated Huon Pine and Western Myall. We then carved out worm holes in the pine to add in red oxide. The pen components are a Full size Gent.
Now that we have it done, we will need to figure out what to do with it.
