About six weeks ago I asked if anyone had a small peice of picguard I could play with (I was thinking 1-2 sq. inches). The next thing I know John sent me two large sections in the mail at no charge. I have been busy with wedding pens for my brother and his in-laws and finally got around to this. It is for me when I study. The woods are bloodwood, yellowheart, and bocote (I couldn't find my little ebony cutoff [V])

Anyway, thanks John. Your awesome! I have some other pens in the wings to work on with the pic guard.

Nice job, Shane!! My personal feeling is that the teacher's pen is a much underappreciated kit. I've seen some wonderfully artistic renditions of this kit. Everyone who has a kid in school should turn one of these pens for the teacher. They will appreciate it a lot more than an apple!!
