Teacher's Pen

I just got into penturning and for pen #2 and pen #3 I decided to make some teacher's pens for my daughter's teachers as presents. Being only pen #2 and pen #3 for me, I think they turned out pretty good. The pens are made out of Bloodwood, African blackwood, and the center was from an Ash tree that use to be in my yard a few years ago.

Nice looking couple of pens and the fact that some of the material came from a tree in your yard. Now that's apple polishing! My wife teaches 4th grade and gets small gifts of appreciation from time to time and something like that would be a long treasured gift.
