Had an extra SS Nav Fountain Pen kicking around, so I figured I'd stick it on a piece of Tambooti I got from the Woodcraft bargain box-o-brown-wood. I'm not a big fan of Fountain Pens, but I figured I should have 1 or 2 on hand as samples, so this one is going in the pen-folio:

Nice looking pen, Navigators and Barons aren't all that bad, my every day carry FP is a Baron in Ipe, the plating wore off but it's 3 years old and gets a lot of use, that Tambooti is a sweet piece of lumber, it looks great with the Silver kit

yeah i gotta add "good job on the photos" too! thats a really nice combination of material and plating. Throw some ink in that bad boy and give it hell!!! I have recently taken a liking to FP myself, they seem a lot easier to modify than other kits.

Thanks for all the nice comments!!

burr, yes, the threads on the inside of the cap are plastic (probably delrin, but I'm not positive, they are the same plastic as all the others in that style (Baron, Jr.Gents, etc...)
