Tall lady

Made this pen using a local hardwood that has pink dots- hardware is recycled from an old pen, The pen is inspired by Dutch Lady and the barrel is extended about 18 mm more than usual and cap is given a dome to add false height. The wood is light and the pen writes well balance , even when posted. Thanks for looking.

Calcutta and Kolkata are two names of same place- Calcutta is the Anglicized name the British gave to the ethnic name Kolkata-the ethnic name has been re-introduced some 10 years or so back.!!

I am curious what materials, tools, lathe, etc that you have available. And what you may need to do further work, given that you are out at sea much of your time. I do understand that you are a collector, that enjoys also making pens.
