Sunflower resin Custom FP

Sunflower resin from Exotic Blanks, #6 Medium Two-tone Meisternib. Section, couplers, and finials are machined from brass, and gold plated.

It's certainly heavier than an all resin pen, but not ungainly to write with. I'm confident the weight can be further reduced to about 40g. To my taste, about 35g is about ideal. It is not postable.

Very nice! I normally don't care for gold components (mass produced or not), but it fits the sunflower blank.

I love that blank. I have one I've been eager to get to. I envy you the metal parts with plating. The shape really appeals to me, and posting is no big deal for me, although some won't buy a pen unless it does. I'm really liking the stuff you're doing Roger!
