Sumpin' Differnt

I haven't seen any of this posted, but I had a few 4" Redbud logs given to me in May and I wanted to give it a try. It's been sitting in my garage all Summer drying and after I got it turned I noticed that it spalted just a bit. I also discovered an unexpected inclusion once I got down to size. Black enamel SL, Mylands three step, TSW.

Here's another view of the grain pattern.
