Summit Fancy Hot Pink

This pen is called Summit Fancy, and it's from Rockler. The blank is called Hot Pink Crush. I've never been a fan of filigree pens, they look gaudy to me. But I made a flat top version for my mom probably 16 years ago, and it's one of her favorites. When I saw this kit at Rockler, I knew I had to make one for her. The first one I made was with a white pearl blank. I decided to use a brightly colored blank this time, and chose this hot pink one. In spite of the filigree, I do like the way this one turned out. And I daresay, my mom will love it.

They are a Nice Pen to make,provided you get the diameter right on the Cap, though I share your comments about being a bit Gaudy.
