Home cast resins, Triton rollerballs. Getting partial to the triton pen kits. Experimenting with some home casting now that temperatures in my part of the country are warming up. Found some cobalt blue and it sure does pop. Thanks for looking.

Very nice work. I know what you mean about the Tritons, they are a nice set of components. The cobalt blue is a great looking blank indeed.

These pens look great. Very nice job. I know I sound like a broken record because I say it quite often, but a custom finial turned from the same material would make these "pop" in my opinion.

I agree with you Chris. Especially on the blue one. I've only done that once. It turned out just OK because of my skill level. Maybe next time.

Stuck on Triton version 2

Chris made a good suggestion so I went back to modify the finial. Thanks for the suggestion, I think it looks better. Mike

Lesson learned for me, I should have painted the back of the finial blue. The silver/chrome beneath the finial does show just a touch on the thin edges of the finial. A bit of paint would have helped. Thanks for the comments. Mike
